Michael Tillman is a Senior Lead Auditor at CICS Americas with over 30 years of experience in management systems and offshore oil and gas operations.

He has conducted more than 550 days of on-site audits and has audited more than 250 offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, including shelf, deepwater, drilling, and decommissioning facilities. He has served as Lead Auditor for major operators and played a key role in auditing some of the largest SEMS programs in the region.

Michael started his career in the oil and gas industry as a Completions Engineer, bringing valuable hands-on offshore experience to his auditing approach. His background includes well logging, project management, and operational support in complex offshore environments.

He holds a degree in Geology, an MBA, and is a certified SEMS and ISO Lead Auditor. His practical experience and real-world insight make him a highly respected instructor in SEMS auditing.
