Kurt Teuscher is the CEO of CICS Americas, with over 30 years of experience in the third-party auditing and certification industry. He oversees certification efforts across multiple standards, including SQF, SEMS, ISO, and SASISOPA.

He is the architect of CICS Americas’ SEMS auditing framework, aligned with COS, BSEE, and ASEA requirements, making the company the first Certification Body authorized to perform third-party SEMS audits in both the U.S. and Mexico.

Kurt has audited over 150 offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, including shelf and deepwater platforms, as well as drilling, decommissioning, and removal operations. Additionally, he has conducted thousands of audits across quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems in various industries.

He has trained over 5,000 professionals worldwide and is a recognized instructor in management systems auditing. Kurt holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and German.
